Island watching UK's family court changes

Government is analysing a new family court system coming into force in the UK.

The Home Affairs Minister says the reforms are being watched carefully before the Island follows suit.

The changes are being driven by the need to reduce delays and simplify the whole legal process.

Although the Island usually follows the UK in amending legislation – Juan Watterson says these changes show it’s losing focus:
