Minister reacts to Sunday parking charge outcry

Government’s decision to scrap free parking in Douglas on a Sunday has been met with public outcry.

A petition has been set up to allow the public a platform to air their views on the matter.

It argues that government is not supporting the economy, with the charges a disincentive to go into the town and shop local.
