Man in court on drug charges
A 30-year-old man from Douglas will appear in court today charged with drug offences.
It follows the seizure of cocaine with an estimated street value of £54,000 on Friday.
Around £9,000 of cash was also recovered by police.
The man was arrested for possession with intent to supply a class A controlled drug.
He was then charged on Saturday - including a charge for assaulting a police officer.
Police say they will continue to target criminal networks involved in importing and supplying drugs to the Island.
