Local woman helps children in need

A Manx resident has been congratulated for dedicating her own time to organising more than 300 children’s Christmas box collections over six years.

Analyst Alexandra Hall has overseen the collection of the boxes packed with gifts for children in the poorest nations around the world since 2008.

Alexandra has also made use of the cardboard waste from her workplace – which she shaped into the correct shoebox-style size and shape.

She says there’s one case in particular that touches her heart:
