Report on former doctor to go before Tynwald

A report which looks at how authorities handled the case of Dr Dirk Hoehmann will be debated in Tynwald next week.

The doctor was the Island’s ear, nose and throat specialist for five years before his arrest and trial for offences committed in Germany.

The Public Accounts Committee was charged with looking into the finer details of the case - particularly how his criminal record wasn’t detected when he was employed here in 2005.
