Bikers told to ride sensibly

Bikers are being urged to be more sensible on the Island’s roads as the number of traffic collisions increases. 

Thousands of TT fans are arriving ahead of the start of race week tomorrow.

Police are trying to reinforce the road safety message with an increased presence on the Mountain Circuit.

Motorists have been urged to remember to use their mirrors and to pay more care and attention when carrying out manoeuvres.

Inspector Derek Flint also has this advice for motorcyclists:
