Packed schedule for Tynwald sitting

Privatisation within the health service and a claim from the UK that the crown dependencies owe money are on the agenda in Tynwald.

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson will ask Health Minister David Anderson about a letter sent to hospital staff which mentioned possible privatisation which would affect some ancillary services in the Department.

The Treasury Minister will be asked about a statement from the UK Chancellor claiming the island, along with Jersey and Guernsey, owes £1bn in unpaid taxes.

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft is still chasing the issue of the film industry and the Pinewood Studios deal.

She wants to know when £8m will be transferred from the media development fund into general reserves.
