Bus drivers carry out strike action

Bus drivers have gone on strike this afternoon as part of an ongoing row over changes to their terms and conditions.

They’re angry at the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure which needs to find savings of £300,000.

It’s the second time they’ve conducted industrial action – the last was for three days in December.

Drivers will be on strike until 6pm and in this time a reduced service will operate. School children will once again have to rely on trains and trams to get home.
