MHK explains reasons for Military Covenant

 

Tynwald will be asked to give approval to the creation of a Military Community Covenant in Tuesday’s sitting.

Home Affairs Minister, Juan Watterson, has spearheaded the initiative after hearing the concerns and grievances of serving personnel both past and present.

It will exist to strip away barriers and bureaucracy for those individuals who have been serving in the armed forces and want to settle back into normal life.
