Treasury engaging with businesses ahead of 2013 budget
The Treasury Minister says engaging with the local business community ahead of next year’s budget is vitally important.
He’s had more than 40 meetings with a cross-section of industries to discuss the economic outlook for 2013 and beyond.
The Treasury is currently working on a budget framwork and projections for the next three years to help assist other government departments with forward planning.
The focus is on stimulating economic growth, rebalancing finances and protecting the vulnerable.
