Chief Minister talks about Tynwald member pay rise

The Chief Minister says he understands the skeptical reaction over the pay rise for members of Tynwald and the Civil Service.

Ramsey MHK Allan Bell says the hike will not be facilitated by any more money being made available by government departments.

The annual increase equates to roughly £840,000, a one point eight per cent

The 1.08% rise has been backdated to the start of April.
