Potential scam offering to update Sky TV box warrenty

There is a potential new phone scam doing the rounds that the public are being urged to be wary of.

A number of individuals have reported incidents of cold calling from someone offering to update their insurance on their sky satellite box.

On each occasion the caller has terminated the call before handing over the details but its feared some may be duped by the convincing call.

This recent potential scam joins a long list of opportunist schemes reported over the past year.
