Conference will look at how well youngsters are prepared for the workplace
A conference will be held next month looking into how well young people are being prepared for the work place.
It’s a topical issue currently, with a recent consultation looking to answer that very question.
Ensuring school leavers are appropriately prepared to enter the working environment is seen as being key to the success and prosperity of the Isle of Man.
Paul Craine from the Department of Education and Children says the recent consultation produced a contrasting set of opinions from the employers they surveyed:
