Manx Wildlife Trust loses £15,000 grant

The trust has been stripped of £15,000 from the Department of Education and Children.

This money formed part of its annual grant which went towards employing an education officer.

As a quick fix solution the Manx Wildlife Trust will have to start charging schools for the educational service - a measure which it anticipates will bring about a decline in uptake.
