Wettest June on record

Heavy rain throughout the last month means June was the wettest on record since 1947.

Friday, June 22nd was the wettest day of the month with over two inches of rainfall recorded.

It led to flooding in many areas around the Island - and despite being predicted it still took Ronaldsway Met Office by surprise.

Forecaster Colin Gartshore says records have been surpassed.(play media file below)
