Roads, MGP and eye tests on House of Keys agenda

Road maintenance, support for the Manx Grand Prix and free eye tests are amongst the topics to be discussed in the House of Keys this morning.

Douglas South member Kate Beecroft wants to know what progress is being made on repairs to the Island's roads.

Economic Development Minister John Shimmin will be asked to pledge his support to the future of the Manx Grand Prix, following an announcement by his Department on plans to shorten the event from next year.

North Douglas MHK John Houghton will ask the Heath Minister whether eye tests will continue to be available on the NHS in the future.

The sitting of the House of Keys gets underway from 10.00.
