Lifeboat rescues injured man on coastal path

Lifeboat crews and paramedics were called out yesterday afternoon after a man sustained injuries on a coastal path.

The 25 year old needed help after hurting his leg whilst on the path between Port Mooar and Maughold Head.

Those involved in the rescue decided the quickest way to get the man into an ambulance was to take him in the lifeboat to Ramsey harbour.

Once back in Ramsey, the injured man was taken by ambulance to Noble's Hospital.
