Injured biker transferred to UK hospital
A motorcyclist seriously injured in a crash on the Ballamodha Straight has been transferred to Walton Hospital in Liverpool for treatment.
The 39 year old Colby man was riding a blue Suzuki which was involved in an accident at around 5.40pm on Monday.
The road was shut for four hours while emergency crews worked at the scene.
Police are renewing their appeal for information.
They would like to speak to witnesses or anyone who saw the motorbike in the time leading up to the crash.
