Sheep and lambs put down following dog attack
Witnesses are being sought following a dog attack which resulted in a number of sheep and lambs having to be put down.
The attack caused severe injuries to the animals in a farmer's fields, between Douglas Lawn Cemetery and Ballanard Road last Friday afternoon.
There was a similar incident in the same area a couple of weeks ago.
Police are keen to avoid further attacks and are urging the owner of the dog responsible to come forward.
