Police appeal to witnesses to fatal crash
Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal crash on the New Castletown Road.
A motorcyclist died following the accident at the Fairy Bridge at around 6.15am.
Two vehicles were involved. They were a red Honda motorbike and a black Vauxhall Zafira.
The driver of the people carrier stopped at the scene and was unhurt.
The road was closed for over five hours whilst the scene was cleared and investigations were carried out.
The public are being thanked for their co-operation and understanding.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Police Headquarters on 631212.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed of the death.
