Manx health services to be reviewed by Care Quality Commission?

An MHK wants to know if the Isle of Man can join the Care Quality Commission's system of monitoring care.

Douglas South member Kate Beecroft is to ask Health Minister David Anderson whether the Department has been in contact with the Commission, and if the body would be able to review care services on the Island.

The Care Quality Commission monitors the standard of care in hospitals, care homes and dentists in England.

Mr Anderson will give more details when the House of Keys sits tomorrow morning
