Former Bishop quits high profile job at St Paul's

The Island's former Bishop has quit his job as the Dean of St Paul's Cathedral.

It's in the wake of the anti-capitalist protests taking place outside the historic London landmark.

In a statement, the Right Reverend Graeme Knowles said the Cathedral had faced what would appear to be "some insurmountable issues".

He added that as criticism increased, his position as Dean "was becoming untenable".

Graeme Knowles was the Bishop of Sodor and Man from 2003 to 2007, when he left to take up the post at St Paul's.
