Inquiry into Bride housing plans

Plans to build 27 new homes in the north of the Island will come under public scrutiny today.

The Department of Infrastructure wants to allow the development to go ahead to meet the demand for affordable housing in the north.

The new properties would be in Bride.

A consultation by the Department earlier this year saw few responses, but most were in favour of the scheme.

A public inquiry will take place at Ramsey Town Hall from 9.30 this morning.
