21 receive Duke of Edinburgh gold award

21 young people from the Isle of Man have picked up their gold Duke of Edinburgh awards this week.

The award sees those taking part completing tasks in different areas, including volunteering, expedition and physical.

Amongst the activities undertaken were kayaking in Greenland, volunteering for the RNLI and conservation work in New Zealand.

The group were invited to a ceremony at Government House to receive their awards earlier this week.
