Change of government policy blamed for job losses at Protours
A change in government policy is being blamed for problems at local coach company Protours.
15 staff have been told they're being made redundant and have been given three months notice.
Boss Roy Lightfoot says contracts the company had been getting through government have dried up as more work is being given to Bus Vannin.
Mr Lightfoot says over the next few months they'll sit back and take stock of the situation.
He hopes some way forward can be found for the company.
Protours has operated in the Isle of Man for over 40 years.
