Chief Minister praises Cavendish

The Chief Minister says Mark Cavendish is a real credit to the Isle of Man.

The Manx cyclist became the first British rider to win the green jersey in the Tour de France on Sunday.

Tony Brown says he was watching the final stage of the Tour.

Early on Cav had problems with his bike and had to stop and wait for assistance, dropping off the back of the paleton.

Mr Brown told Granada Reports he was impressed at how he got back in to the race [play clip]
