TUC to demonstrate over Tynwald pay
The Isle of Man Trade Union Council is holding a demonstration over politicians' pay this afternoon.
Demonstrators will protest outside Legislative Buildings at 2.30 this afternoon, urging voters to think about whether their current MHK gives them value for money.
The TUC calculates that each Member of Tynwald costs the tax payer £80,000 per year.
The organisation has launched a campaign called "the axe factor" in the run up to the General Election in September.
