No reduction for Onchan Commissioners
The number of members serving on Onchan Commissioners is to remain the same.
Brian Stowell's motion to see the Commissioners cut from seven to five failed to gain enough support when the local authority met last night.
Ray Kniveton was the only other member in favour of the move.
Mr Kniveton said he had found support in the community for the change, whilst June Kelly said everyone she had spoken to wanted more Commissioners not less.
