Social media experiment for Island's police

The Island's police will be facebooking and tweeting about every incident they attend on Friday and Saturday night.

The Isle of Man Constabulary will try to post descriptions about every job they attend between 8.00pm and 8.00am on both days.

The updates will be posted on the Isle of Man Constabulary Media Page, which has proved popular for road closure updates over TT.

A similar experiment by the Greater Manchester Police showed that they received over 3200 calls over a 24 hour period last year.
