Candidate for Michael steps forward
Just hours after a stalwart of Manx politics announces his retirement, a hopeful candidate steps forward for the seat.
Paul Heavey is to stand for Michael in the House of Keys election this September.
David Cannan who's held his seat for nearly 29 years announced this morning that he won't be seeking re-election.
38 year old Mr Heavey is the boss of a taxi firm and lives in Kirk Michael.
