Crash closes road between Crosby and Ballacraine
Emergency services have closed a section of the main Douglas to Peel route following a crash.
The route is shut between Crosby and Ballacraine.
A car is understood to have hit a telegraph pole in the area of the Hawthorn Restaurant, bringing down overhead cables.
There are no details of any injuries.
At this time it's not know when the road will reopen.
Customers of the Hawthorn are still being allowed access to the restaurant through Ballacraine.
All other traffic is asked to find an alternative route.
