Top awards for Knight, Cavendish and Gillings
World Enduro Champion David Knight and Road cycling star Mark Cavendish were jointly named Isle of Man Sportsman of the year last night.
Snowboarder Zoe Gillings picked up Sportswoman of the year at the Isle of Man Sports Awards at the Villa Marina.
Teenage archer Aalin George was named under 21 sportswoman, having broken the Manx record at the Commonwealth Games.
Under 21 sportsman went to Commonwealth bronze medal winning cyclist Mark Christian.
The Isle of Man under 17 cricket team won the team of the year award.
Rowan Caley, Jock Waddington, Steve Kelly, Gareth Dawson and Tonya Lushington were also honoured.
World champion gymnast Beth Tweddle was the guest of honour at the event, handing out some of the awards.
