The March sitting of Tynwald gets underway this morning.
On the question paper, North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson is asking for an update on the situation with potential job losses in the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
He's asking Minister David Cretney if any staff are willing to take voluntary redundancies or early retirement and whether the Treasury has been asked to come up with a package for this.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran has a number of questions down about the judicial system.
Among other things, he'll be asking the Attorney General if the selection of Deemsters is free from political interference.
Member for Douglas West Geoff Corkish wants to know the outcome of a public consultation over the redevelopment of Douglas Promenade.
On the order paper, the Social Care Minister is asking for £750,000 to build homes for elderly people on the former army campsite at Jurby.
Politicians will also be asked to vote on the introduction of the controversial all-island taxi licence.
However, South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey wants Tynwald to agree not to allow any new cab licences to be issued until an independent unmet needs survey is carried out.
