New governor to be sworn in this April

The Island's new Lieutenant Governor will be sworn in on 7th April.

The ceremony for Adam Wood will take place at 11.15am at Castle Rushen.

Mr Wood takes over from Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks.

He was educated at Oxford and has recently retired from the British Diplomatic Service.
