Postal workers knew about pay freeze following 2010 budget

Isle of Man Post Office has emailed customers to explain its position in the dispute over pay.

The statement says its employees have known since last year's budget that they are affected by the Government pay freeze, and that they should vote against strike action because of this.

Earlier this week the Communication Workers Union announced it would begin balloting members next week.
