Postal workers to vote over strike action

Postal workers will be asked to vote next week on whether or not they will strike in a row over pay.

Isle of Man Post has been served with notice of the ballot today.

The Communication Workers Union says they've done everything they can to settle the matter but claims the company hasn't budged.

It's the first ever strike ballot at the mail company.

250 postal workers will have from the 18th February to 16th March to vote on whether or not to stage a walk out.
