Court tells man to grow up

A man from Lonan has appeared in court charged with supplying drugs and being drunk and disorderly.

Leo Craig Dale was witnessed supplying a small amount of cannabis resin to a friend outside KFC in Douglas by a plain clothes police officer.

The 23 year old made off from the scene but was later arrested at his home.

In a seperate incident, Dale was arrested in Douglas in September after an arguement outside the Outback.

He ran from the police but was arrested on the quay trying to jump in to the sea.

Deputy High Bailiff Alistair Montgomerie told Dale it's time he grew up, and handed down a fine of £500 for the drugs charge, £250 for being drunk and disorderly, plus over £200 of costs.
