Post office to send gifts to troops
The Isle of Man post office is asking the Manx public for donations to send out to Manxmen currently serving in Afghanistan.
The post office is looking for donations of dried fruit, lip balm and sweets that can be sent out to the frontline to try and help make life more bearable for the troops.
The items can be dropped off at Regent Street in Douglas or Ramsey post office where they will be sent out free of charge.
