Court hears murder accused's police interviews

The transcripts of the interviews following the arrest of a man accused of murder are being read in court.

Simon Paul Leece of Fairfield Terrace denies starting four fires in March last year, one resulting in the death of Terry Losh in Demesne Road.

In his initial interview Leece admitted he was walking in the area at the times of the fires on Clark and Peveril Street.

He said he regularly walked in the area at the weekend after a few drinks.

Leece said he would drink a 24 glass box of wine at the weekend.

He was questioned 25 times over several days.

The trial continues.
