Seven object to Langness findings
Seven parties have objected to the findings of the Langness Inquiry.
Landowners Jeremy and Frances Clarkson, and Graham Ferguson-Lacey disagree that public rights of way should be established across their land.
Three parties from the Castletown Golf Links, one member of the public, and former landowner and current tenant farmer Simon Rigall have also lodged objections with the Department of Infrastructure.
A 28 day period for objections has been reset as one of the landowner's companies was not informed of the results.
The matter will now be dealt with in the High Court, and is expected to take place within the next four to five months.
During this time, the Department cannot force landowners to open any potential public rights of way that are currently blocked.
