Two arrested following stabbing

A man needed hospital treatment for a stab wound sustained from an assault in Douglas.

Police say the wound to his torsa was serious but not life threatening.

A 19 year old man and 16 year old girl have since been arrested.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the Howard Street and Regent Street area between 11.00pm on Friday and 1.00am Saturday and saw a group of people, one of whom was wearing a yellow football shirt.

Police are also keen to speak to two filipino men seen in the area, and a young man who was wearing a dark coloured hoodie.
