The Department of Infrastructure has issued an update on the congestion issues drivers are experiencing in the South of the Island.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the Department says they are discussing with Arbory School's headteacher and the Constabulary about ways to ease traffic flow.
Earlier this week political representative for Rushen Juan Watterson expressed his frustrations over the issue.
The DOI said that the one-way system remains in place, with the only change being that the speed limit on Shore Road has been reduced from 40mph to 10mph on safety grounds.
They also say that as well as the limit protecting workers operating in the highway, the restriction is also in place as planing has exposed some ironwork, which is hazardous for road users.
