Laxey School pupils are spending a day outside of the classroom at Ballannette Park in Baldrine as part of the school's efforts to increase awareness of climate change on the natural environment.
School children from all year groups have taken a visit to the property maintenance company SCS's nature reserve to learn from numerous people of influence, including marine scientist Professor Peter Bridgewater, IOM Climate Change Coalition's Joney Faragher, Bill Dale of Beach Buddies IOM and John 'Dog' Callister of Willow Mann.
SCS's founder Stewart Clague himself went to Laxey Primary and invited the school to venture the company's headquarters as part of the business' 50th anniversary.
