A Government survey found that 4 out of 5 residents are in favour of an onshore wind farm.
Findings were released last month, revealing that of 1,029 people who responded, 80 percent support onshore wind generation.
Other results showed that 79 percent support a free bus service; 77 percent support phasing out the sale of new petrol and diesel cars (16 percent against) and 88 percent support a minimum energy efficiency standard when renting or selling properties.
The results of the consultation will help to shape a climate change action plan that will go to Tynwald in January 2020.
