Cyclist injured on Mountain Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured on the Mountain Road.

The incident happened at around 9:25am on Tuesday.

A cyclist wearing high-viability clothing was on the Mountain Mile travelling towards Ramsey.

Officers say a silver/grey coloured vehicle overtook a car heading towards Douglas causing the cyclist to go off the road.

The cyclist received minor injuries and was treated at Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
