Police have released video footage of a crash between a car and tram.
A man was fined for driving without due care and attention having turned across the path of an electric tram in Laxey.
He was also fined for having two illegal tyres and no vehicle license. His total fines were £850 (including Court Costs) and had his driving licence was endorsed with 7 penalty points.
A spokesperson for Isle of Man Constabulary said: "During the busier summer months it is important to be aware of trams operating and to ensure that when turning into, or crossing tram lines, that it is safe to do so. Fortunately on this occasion no one was injured."
