Manx kipper waved at final hustings by Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson used his final hustings of the Tory leadership campaign to wave a Manx kipper and deride ‘pointless health and safety’.
The frontrunner to become the next British prime minister held the plastic-wrapped fish on stage and claimed EU regulations were damaging businesses.
The Isle of Man is fully subject to some EU rules on exporting goods - despite the Island not being a member of the EU.
