Sailing for the Disabled awarded funding

A Manx charity have been awarded £4,000 from the Manx Lottery Trust.
 
Sailing for the Disabled is run entirely by volunteers and offers opportunities for people of all ages on board its yacht.

Formed in 1984, the Manx charity will now be able to extend its 'Inclusion Zone' to members of local associations and groups who have a disability.

The yacht is berthed in Douglas harbour and has special equipment to enable wheelchair users to be transferred on and off the vessel.
