Joe Reid claims first senior British title

Local athlete Joe Reid has been crowned the British indoor 800m champion after the winner was disqualified.

The 23-year-old had originally finished second behind Liverpool's Jamie Webb who was later disqualified for "track contact".

Reid who represented the Isle of Man at the 2018 Commonwealth Games is now attempting to qualify for next month's European Indoors in Glasgow.
