Poor road conditions due to snow and ice

Police are warning motorists to drive to the conditions this morning due to snow and icy conditions.

The Ballamodha Straight from its junction with Bayrauyr Road up to the Main Road Foxdale with its junction with The Hope Crossroads is closed due to snow and ice.

Due to sheet-ice, the Tholt-Y-Will road from Sulby crossroads to the Bungalow is closed - The Mountain Road however is 'OPEN'.

Vehicles have reportedly been gettig stuck on the Hope St John, rising up to Lower Foxdale.

Police were also called to an accident on Peel Road at Railway Hill where a vehicle had slid into a wall.
